H-ward Science Exhibition for the academic year 2022-2023 was held in our school from 11th to 13th January, 2023. Being the host school, we made all the necessary arrangements like classrooms for the display of projects, different corners like the meditation corner, the creative corner, the Selfie corner, the H- ward gallery for the display of Charts, Medical room, Canteen, different stalls put up by the students and St. Teresa’s special school etc. The decorative committee consisting art teachers from different H-Ward schools prepared various decorations including the Make In India logo (model) and the Selfie corner creating awareness about health and hygiene. Not forgetting the beautiful gaint rangoli made our very own students highlighting the theme.
The exhibition commenced with the hoisting of the Science Flag by the Chief guest Dr. S. Gautam on the first day of the Exhibition. Students dressed in traditional attire and some as technological tools, welcomed chief guest and guests of honour creating a cultural and scientific ambience on all the three days of the Exhibition.
Exhibits put up by 67 schools of H- Ward were displayed in different classrooms according to the categories. The Judges were taken around for evaluation of the projects and the results were recorded by the team in charge. The last day comprised of the valedictory function, the felicitation of the retired Principals, the co- conveners and the prize distribution ceremony.
The Junior group of our school bagged the second prize whereas the senior group received the Consolation prize and also a trophy was presented to St. Teresa’s for hosting the Science exhibition.
