29th August,2023 birthday of Major Dhyanchand a hockey player is observed as ‘National Sports Day'. To celebrate this day a special assembly was conducted by students and teachers of Marion house and the sports teachers and the hockey and basketball players.

St. Teresa's beat Duruelo Convent 'B' by 11-0 in a girls' under-16 qualifying match of the National Sports Day Inter-Schools hockey tournament on 29th August, 2023.

St. Teresa's (Santacruz) beat Gokuldham (Goregaon) 2-1 in a girls' under-16 quarterfinal match of the National Sports Day Inter-Schools hockey tournament organized by the Republicans Sports Club and Mumbai Hockey Association Limited at the MHAL Stadium, Churchgate, on 29th August, 2023.

St. Teresa's won the Semi Finals against Carmels of St. Joseph 'A' by 1-0 and the finals against Duruelo Convent 'A' by 1-0 on 30th August, 2023.
