“ Whosoever wears this scapular shall not suffer eternal fire .”

16th of July is a very important feast for all the Carmelites throughout the world . On this day we celebrate the feast of OUR LADY OF MOUNT CARMEL , the patroness of the Carmelite order . The novena to our lady began from the 7th of July , everyone participated in the novena , asking our lady for her intercession and protection .

As a part of the preparation for the feast day , the school was decorated with charts and other decorative materials made by students . Sacred Heart church was decorated with flowers and ribbons by our sisters and teachers.

The celebration began with a Mass at Sacred heart church , celebrated by Fr. Felix . the mass was attended by the catholic students , sisters and teachers of the school , ex-teachers , parishioners and invited guests. The students of the special school presented a beautiful tableau on how Our lady of Mount Carmel appeared to St. Simon Stock and handed the holy scapular .

Fr. Felix celebrated the mass and spoke about our Lady . After the mass ended a piece of cake and scapular was distributed to all . Then all the students and teachers proceeded towards the school were they were treated with snacks and sweets for all .
