Manager's Message

The mission of our school is to empower our Teresians to make a difference in the world. What is it that makes the difference? Teresians are taught to have the competence to make prudent choices, to encounter challenges, to be responsible to uphold the dignity of human beings without any distinction, to have the character to comport themselves in ways, that those ethical decisions are for the betterment of others, rather than for themselves.  

 Education is a colossal enterprise that touches everyone’s lives. What we’re celebrating is a rich history of ideas and discoveries that shaped education. Our centennial gives us the prospect to burnish a light on this spectacular past while also considering what the future embraces. A time to reflect on the great challenges that will continue to confront the complexities of education.

In 2022 – 2023, St.Teresa’s Convent High School jubilantly commemorates 100 years of imparting education. We cherish this Centennial as a milestone in our ongoing journey, as a moment to mark and acknowledge all that our faculty has established for students and society, and as a catalyst to the next era of Education.

Our Staff are the vibrant heart of this Institution. Their educational vitality  will both, tap and celebrate creativity as we all work together to create a second century of leadership—a century in which excellence will become inclusive, and liberal education will be recognized and embraced as the essential foundation for a free society, a diverse democracy, and a vibrant global economy.

Individually and collectively let us work to serve the cause of education for the betterment of the coming generation so that they live in a world where “Knowledge is free and the head is held high” ; where “the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls” and “the clear stream of reason has not lost its way”. Let our Teresians grow and glow as world class citizens- a generation of distinguished thinkers and judicious planners contributing to a better world order. This is our prayer, our wish and our dream!
